To find book reviews, keep your searches short. For example, you can enter the author's last name AND a brief phrase from the book title. The first search is for the book Gracefully Insane: Life and Death Inside America's Premier Mental Hospital by Alex Beam.
The second search again uses one author's last name and several words from the title connected with AND. The book is The Domestic Dog: Its Evolution, Behaviour and Interactions with People by J. Serpell and P. Barret.
You may limit your search to scholarly journals.
Select Document Type: Book Review to make sure you don't retrieve articles by the same author about the same topic but NOT a review of the book.
