Student Wellness Services

Of course, that also means being a college student is stressful.

College is a stimulating and exciting place where you will grow, change and develop as a person.

And that’s true whether you’re a first-time freshman or a senior, whether you’re the first person, or the fifth generation, in your family to go to college, whether you’re three miles or three states away from home.

Sometimes you need someone trained, objective and caring to just listen. Bethel’s wellness services for students is here to be that for you.

Some typical issues that Student Wellness may be able to help you or someone else with:

  • homesickness
  • trouble adjusting
  • academic struggles
  • depression
  • time management
  • substance use issues
  • changes in personality
  • relationship problems
  • feeling overwhelmed
  • not feeling connected/isolation
  • anxiety
  • financial issues
  • anger/impulsivity issues
  • level of functioning concerns

Whatever the cause of stress in your life, the Student Counseling Office is a safe place to bring it for examination and help.

Counseling services at Bethel are free to all full-time students as part of the Office of Student Life.
