Interlibrary loan is available to all students, faculty, and staff at Bethel College and to community patrons as a means of obtaining books or articles not currently available in the Bethel College Library collection. All users must have a library account in good standing to utilize interlibrary loan services.
Visit the Bethel College Library Interlibrary Loan website for more information about interlibrary loan.
Interlibrary loan requests can be submitted through EBSCOhost, WorldCat FirstSearch, the Kansas Library Catalog, or by using the following forms:
If an EBSCOhost search result includes a link to HTML Full Text or PDF Full Text, click that link for immediate access to the article. If a search result does not include a Full Text link, click Request this item through interlibrary loan to submit a request to receive the article through interlibrary loan.
Articles requested through interlibrary loan are delivered by e-mail. Many articles arrive within a few days, though some can take longer depending on the availability of the material. If you have questions regarding your request, please e-mail interlib@bethelks.edu.
Interlibrary loan requests for books and other physical items can be submitted through WorldCat FirstSearch. After locating a record for the item, click the ILL icon near the top of the page or click Borrow this item from another library. Complete the request form and click Submit.
You will be contacted by e-mail when the material is available for pick up. Interlibrary loan materials typically arrive within 1-2 weeks, though some can take longer depending on the availability of the material and location of the lending library. If you have questions regarding your request, please e-mail interlib@bethelks.edu.
