Narrow your search by document type

Search for Company Profiles: Accessing company profiles is easy with Business Source Premier. Company profiles are published yearly and provide an overview of individual companies including descriptions, key facts, top employees, environmental analyses, and top competitors. Search by company name or keyword.

NAICS/Industry Code and DUNS number search bars

Narrow your search by business

Industry data are often organized by codes assigned to industries by the United States government. Knowing the code for your industry will be helpful in your research. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is one of the most commonly used industry codes. Click on the link to search for the NAICS code for a specific industry. 

The Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) is a proprietary system managed by Dun & Bradstreet. DUNS numbers are 9-digit numerical identifiers assigned to individual businesses. DUNS is a global standard, used by business around the world. Use a DUNS number to quickly search for information about a specific business.

A Country Report provides an executive summary of the environment in which a business exists within a specific country. The report provides overviews of the political, social, and economic realities in the selected country. 

Business Source Premier Thesaurus

If your initial search terms do not yield relevant or sufficient results explore the Business Source Premier Thesaurus. In the "Browsing" search box type in a term and select "Browse" to find alternate terms. The thesaurus also shows broader and narrow terms related to your chosen search term.
